Obituary for Irene Bradford

IRENE MILDRED DONIGAN BATHIE BRADFORD

Mrs. Irene Mildred Donigan Bathie Bradford was promoted
to glory on Saturday afternoon, December 9, 2017, at age 92.
She would have become 93 in 2018, having been born on
February 23, 1925, in Astoria, Queens, NY. Her parents were
Edward and Martha Stocker Donigan. She was predeceased
by her first husband, Ian Bathie; and her second husband,
Stephen Bradford Jr.; her son Edward Bathie; her brother and
sister-in-law Frank and Doris Donigan and their sons Frank Jr.
and Edward. She is survived by her two daughters: Martha G.
Conway of Virginia and Susan I. Bradford of Red Bank, and
her son: Timothy M. Bradford of East Windsor; and her four
granddaughters: Kelly Bathie, Ilyss Bathie, Shannon Conway,
and Bethany Conway; her three nieces: Dolores Donigan,
Linda Donigan, Alice Payne; and a nephew Samuel Payne.

As a girl she moved to Perrineville in Millstone Township, NJ,
and later lived in Princeton Junction, Princeton, Plainsboro,
Hightstown, Bordentown, and East Windsor. She was deeply
devoted to her family and friends. She had worked at Ameri-
can Cyanimid, PJ's Pancake House, AMF Head Division, TRI
Industries, and at Target from which she retired in 2012.
Irene was a member of the Gospel Mission Corps where she
had participated in the chapels at Hightstown, Windsor, and
Fresh Ponds in South Brunswick. For a number of years she
served on the GMC Board of Trustees.

A "Celebration of Life" memorial service is being held Tues-
day, December 26 at 3 PM, preceded by visitation from 2 PM,
at Barlow and Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street in
Hightstown. Interment of cremains will take place at a later
time in Princeton Baptist Church Cemetery, 261 Washington
Road in the Penns Neck section of West Windsor Township.
