Edward C. Naylor, 84, of East Windsor passed away Monday, May 21 at Meadow Lakes Health Care in East Windsor. Born in South River, NJ he resided many years in Hightstown. A move to Meadow Lakes in 2012 was one that he said made him happy.
Edward worked at McGraw Hill in Hightstown as a Computer Programmer until his retirement. He was a member of the Hamilton Stamp Club. Edward will be remembered for his good humor and telling jokes and was also an avid reader.
Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary, four children, Catherine Brennan and her husband, Jeff, Elizabeth Naylor, Edward A. (Ted) Naylor and Valerie Naylor.
Calling hours will be held from 11am to 12pm on Friday, May 25 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following the viewing at 12pm. Interment will be on Saturday morning at 10am at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 385 Mercer St., Hightstown, NJ 08520. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward’s name may be made to a favorite charity of his, Doctors Without Borders, 40 Rector St., 16th Fl, New York, NY 10006.
