Julia F Quinn, 86, of Monroe, died Aug. 14, 2018. Born December 5, 1931 in South Amboy, NJ; to the late Mary and Otto Messe. At age 2 they moved to Tottenville, S.I., N.Y.
Growing up in Tottenville she was a member of the Tottenville PAL as captain of the Color Guard. She graduated from Tottenville High School. She lived in Tottenville until she met her late husband John H. Quinn in 1952. They married in 1953 and in 1985 they moved to Monroe Township where he preceded her in death January 30, 2016 after 62 years of marriage.
She retired from the former M&T Chemicals after 35 years of service as Keypunch Supervisor and then worked for South Easton Plastics for 5 years as Administrative Assistant. Retiring from there she worked part time for American Frozen Foods and TriState Alarm.
She loved her trips to A.C. and doing needlepoint.
Surviving are her Goddaughters Dianna McKeon and Kristen Barlics and her cousin Nicole Cohen. She was predeceased by Dan Hoover II.
